About Us

Founded in 2004, Cooperativa Agricola Triasso e Sassella was established with the aim of preserving and enhancing the Valtellina winemaking tradition of the small village of Triasso. In this corner of Valtellina, grape growing has always been a deeply rooted activity in the local culture, with wine considered one of the symbolic products of the area. With the passage of time, however, vineyard work has been gradually abandoned. The desire to keep these traditions alive, along with a passion for viticulture, prompted a group of enthusiasts to come together to found the Cooperative. Today, the commitment is directed toward the preservation of the traditional production method, through the maintenance of old-fashioned farming techniques and the use of the old historic cellars, which are still active for winemaking. The Cooperative's activities are geared toward preserving and passing on the knowledge and passion that characterized previous generations, helping to preserve a unique cultural and winemaking heritage.
